October Treats
October is filled with learning
activities! Fire Safety Week, Columbus
Day, Halloween. This year we are going
to focus on seasons, AMSTI trees, and nocturnal animals. I am already planning a camp site for my
classroom since we will be in the “woods,” and looking for animals that are
awake at night.
I found this cute handprint on
Pinterest for a fire safety art activity,
and a cute graham cracker fire truck
for a cooking project.
Columbus Day is the 12th
which means we will make puppets and illustrate pictures of the Nina, Pinta,
and the Santa Maria on Friday!
Last, I’ve made a simple letter match
using pumpkins and cats. This activity
includes only the first 6 letters we are learning in Reading Street. It’s a free download from TpT…hope you enjoy
